We took a trip to Stoke-on-Trent in Staffordshire to open this old T. Withers double door safe. The keys had been lost a long time ago and they wanted to check the contents and to use it again. The locks on both doors were picked open and new keys made. Plenty of life left in this old safe yet.
Phoenix Firechief 1611 Broken Key
The Phoenix 1610 Series Firechief safes offer 30 minutes fire protection and are recommended for a cash risk of £2,000 or valuables risk of £20,000. This is the 1611 model which the owner had broken the only key for and called us to resolve. We picked the safe open and provided a new set of keys for the client in Preston.
Secureline Secure Data Fire Safe Lost Combination
This is a Secureline Secure Data safe, certified to NT Fire 017 120 Diskette – effective
protection for all computer media for two hours. Perfect for protecting your computer data but not so useful if you can’t remember the combination to retrieve it. We attended this job in Droylsden, Manchester as the business could not recall the combination code. Fortunately we were able to open and reset the combination to the La Gard lock without damaging or affecting the fire rating of the safe.
Dudley Safe Lost Keys Wigan
When the keys to a pub safe in Wigan got lost on Christmas Eve we were called in to save the day. The lock on the Dudley Europa safe was picked open just before the key was found in the cat litter tray. You really do need to watch out for those cat burglars!
D Mathews & Son Ltd Safecracker Burscough
A business in Burscough called us to open their safe as they had lost the key so we booked it in for 9am the next day. At 07:30 in the morning we received a call from them saying that a delivery driver had snapped a key in the gate lock overnight and they couldn’t get into their building and could we help. We were happy to oblige and headed out earlier than expected to find a queue of staff waiting to begin work. It was very frosty and cold so working on a metal gate at that time of morning wasn’t fun but we got it open for them. There was no point in returning at 9 o’clock to do the safe so we opened it for them whilst we were there and was done and dusted by 9am.
Chubb Stafford Safe – Safecracker Ormskirk
When a business took over a new premises in Ormskirk they found this Chubb Stafford safe but there were no keys for it. Since they needed a safe anyway they called us to reinstate this one to working order rather than spend money on a new one.
Fort Knox Sterling Safe Lost Keys
Fort Knox Sterling safe with lost keys opened for a client in Burscough, Lancashire.
Chubb Leamington Lost Combination Manchester
The owner didn’t want this Chubb Leamington safe drilling in order to open it. Luckily they called a professional safe cracker who loves a challenge. The lock put up a good fight but the final result was safe cracker – 1, safe – 0. A very worthy opponent though as Chubb used to make excellent safes back in the day.
Securikey Protector Under Floor Safe
This Securikey Protector safe had seen a lot of action at a petrol station in Cheshire. The handle was loose the boltwork sloppy and the key would only work if the wind was blowing in a certain direction. The owner saw sense and contacted us before it became locked shut and we agreed to give it a service. With a new set of keys and everything working as it should it can go back to work for plenty more years to come.
Mark IV Manifoil Lost Combination
