We were called to an ex-church building in Wigan to open this Secureline safe with lost keys. The Church had vacated the building which was now occupied by another group but some baptismal records had gone missing which were required urgently to allow a gentleman to be married that week. The hope was that they had been left in the safe. Having picked open the safe lock we are pleased to say that the records were safe inside and the wedding could proceed as planned.

A pleasant trip to the seaside to look at this Stratford safe in Lytham St Annes on the Fylde coast of Lancashire. The reported problem was that a bit of the key had snapped off in the lock and indeed we found several pieces of key bit wedged inside it. Extracting the broken pieces was a bit of a fiddle in the confined space in front of the safe but we got them out eventually. The lock had half opened but wouldn’t open far enough to allow us to open the door which is why the key had been forced and broken. With a bit of patience we were able to free the blockage and get the door open without having to drill the safe. With the door open we were able to fix the mechanism and put the safe back into service.

We attended the job in Walsall in the West Midlands and picked open the lock. The client was very pleased at the contents which more than covered our charges. After replacing the lock and supplying a new set of keys we left them with a fully functioning safe once again.
