We were recently called to assist a customer in Up Holland who was unable to access their Burton safe after losing the only key they had for it. With no spare available and important items stored inside, they needed a professional solution to regain access while keeping the safe fully functional.
Burton safes are well known for their strong build quality and reliable locking systems, making them a popular choice for both homes and businesses. However, when the only key is lost, gaining access can be difficult without the right skills and specialist tools.
After assessing the safe, we used our expertise to pick open the key lock carefully and non-destructively, allowing us to open the safe without causing any damage to the lock or the cabinet. This approach meant the safe could continue to be used normally once access had been restored.
To ensure the safe remained secure going forward, we then supplied a brand-new set of keys to the lock, effectively changing the key profile so that any lost or old keys would no longer operate the safe. This gave the customer complete peace of mind that the missing key could not be used if it ever turned up again.
The safe was quickly put back into service, and the customer was able to access their belongings once more without needing to replace the safe or its locking system.
