Securikey Mini Vault Safecracker Manchester

We were recently called to assist a customer in Manchester who was unable to open their Securikey Mini Vault safe, even though they had the correct key. The lock had developed a fault, preventing the mechanism from operating properly and leaving the safe completely inaccessible.

Securikey Mini Vault safes are widely used in both domestic and commercial settings, offering reliable day-to-day security. However, like any mechanical lock, components can wear or fail over time—especially with frequent use.

The customer had already contacted the original supplier and had been quoted a significant cost for replacement and repair, but wanted a second opinion before going ahead. That’s where Paladin Safe Services came in.

We attended promptly and, using our specialist tools and expertise, were able to open the safe non-destructively, ensuring no damage was caused to the lock or the safe itself. Once open, we carried out a full inspection and identified the issue within the locking mechanism.

Rather than replacing the entire unit, we were able to repair the fault on-site and restore the safe to full working order—all completed in a single visit. The total cost came in at around a quarter of the original quote, saving the customer both time and money.

The safe was quickly put back into service, and the client was delighted with the fast, cost-effective solution.

Another safe expertly opened and repaired by Paladin Safe Services in Manchester—proving that with the right knowledge and experience, even stubborn lock issues can be resolved without unnecessary expense.
