A bit of a mess this one. The battery compartment had been broken some time ago so the batteries had been taped in place. The batteries had come loose which meant the code would no longer open the safe. The owner didn’t have the key to the override lock so couldn’t open it despite attempts at breaking the keypad off. We attended the job in Manchester and picked open the key lock to gain access to the safe, it was too late to save the safe but the owner already had plans to replace it.
