We were called to this Chubb Eurosafe at a pub in Bootle, Merseyside as they could not get it open despite having the key. They had been struggling to lock and unlock it for some time and today it had completely jammed up. After a good fight we got it open one last time and decided that the lock was long overdue retirement so we changed it for a newer model.
The staff at a store in Liverpool were unable to open this internal coffer of a grade 3 safe as the La Gard keypad had detached from the safe. We were able to open the coffer nondestructively and replaced the keypad.
We were called to open this Chubb TDR safe for a client in Ormskirk, the story was that the key had been stuck but they had managed to get it out. Once on site we found a broken key stem and no key bit so we proceeded to open the safe none destructively. Once open we found the key bit inside the back pan. Nice to see a quality safe from the days when engineering was all about quality and not price.
A church in Widnes had lost the keys to these Chubb wall safe collection boxes some time ago and wanted them opening whilst some restoration work was ongoing. Unusual to see them with different types of lock, I can only assume they were installed at different times.

A bar in Liverpool One had used the wrong keys in each lock of this Chubb Europa safe and having tried to force the locks open the keys had become mangled and snapped off deep inside the locks. Two companies had already attended the job prior to them calling us and despite charging for their time they had only managed to add to the problem by filling the keyway with blu-tack (The mind boggles). After a lengthy battle we were able to remove all of the broken bits of keys and proceeded to pick the locks open as no spares were available. Having opened the safe with zero damage to it we changed the locks and provided new sets of keys.
Chubb Sovereign Grade 3 safe wouldn’t open with the correct combination. Failed lock opened and safe put back into action.
The keys had been lost to these pair of Chubb wall safes used for collecting at a Liverpool church. I’m guessing they hadn’t been opened for a while as the coins started pouring out of them once we’d picked them open and I thought it was never going to stop.
