The key to this Withy Grove Stores safe at a home in Poynton had been put somewhere safe along with another couple of bunches of keys which were hoped to be locked in the safe. Once opened the other keys were indeed found inside which saved the owner hundreds of pounds in car key programming and other lock changes.
Brattonsound Gun Cabinet Lost Keys
The keys had been lost to this Brattonsound gun cabinet in the firearms evidence room of a forensics laboratory in Warrington. We picked the lock open without damage and supplied a new lock and keys.
Phoenix 1220 Centurion Safe Lost Key
We were told that there was no key or combination for this Phoenix 1220 Centurion safe at a farm near Macclesfield in Cheshire. Once we arrived on site the combination had been discovered by the owner but the key was still missing. We dialled in the given combination and picked the key lock to open the safe. We offered to make new keys but the owner was confident that the original key would turn up eventually.
Fort Knox Safe Opening
The new owners of a tanning salon in Wigan had not been given the keys to this locked Fort Knox under floor safe and wished to use it. We picked the safe open and were amazed to find it contained bags which appeared to be full of coins. On closer inspection they turned out to be tokens for the old tanning beds so not the great fortune that we were hoping for but it certainly added a bit of excitement to the safe opening. A new key was made by hand to the existing lock and the safe was put back in to service. The excitement must have been too much for the safe engineer who managed to leave one of his big toolboxes in the Salon and had to make a return trip to retrieve it.
Yale YSB Safe Lost Keys
The owner of this Yale YSB digital safe in Mossley, Ashton-under-Lyne, had lost the double bitted override keys and the batteries were flat. We picked the lock open so he could access the contents.
Eagle Safes Home Safes Lost Key
The keys had been lost to this Eagle Safes safe in Hoylake, Wirral. We opened the safe by picking the lock and made new keys for the owner.
Fort Knox Lost Keys
This Fort Knox under floor safe was found by the new owners of a property in Rhyl, North Wales. They wanted the safe opened and had a great idea of using it as a time capsule for their children to open when they were older. We opened it up by picking the lock to reveal that the safe was empty. The lock was changed and new keys provided to prevent any potential existing keys from opening it.
Chubb Wall Safe Lost Keys
The owner of this Chubb Wall Safe in Crosby had lost the one and only key. We picked the safe open and put it back in to service by re-keying the lock.
Yale Digital Safe Lost Keys
The batteries in this Yale digital safe at a hair salon in Manchester had fallen out and the owners had lost the override key. This had happened several times previously and was getting expensive for them to keep calling a locksmith to open it as each time they were told that they could not have a key provided to them for the emergency override lock. We attended the job, opened the safe and provided them with two new keys in case the batteries ever fall out or go flat again.
