The keypad to this deposit safe in Manchester was detached from the safe during a botched battery change attempt. The unfortunate thing being that the original keypad did not even have a battery in, the battery for the lock was inside the safe. We attended site and opened the safe nondestructively for them. We then installed a new keypad with batteries inside so hopefully it shouldn’t happen again.
A trip down to lovely North Wales to open this Burg Wachter Office Line safe with Secutronic lock. The electronics had failed some time ago and they made alternative arangements for locking it by means of a padlock. A new member of staff accidentally locked the electronic lock however and they were then unable to open it. We were able to open the safe for them and they were going to replace it so did not require us to repair it.
