The key and combination had been lost to this Hilka Digital Home Safe S-50EA(II) in Lytham St Annes due to a bereavement and we were asked to sort out the problem. We picked the lock open and changed the cylinder to provide a new set of keys and reset the combination to put it back into service.

Digital Home Safe Lost Key
The owner of this Digital home safe in Ormskirk, Lancashire could not open his safe. The last time it was opened it seemed that the batteries were flat so he changed them and locked it up again. Unfortunately the digital lock would no longer open the safe and the key had been lost. We arrived on site twenty minutes after receiving the call and had it open within a couple of minutes. We tested the batteries which all showed to have sufficient power and had to advise that it was beyond economical repair due to the low cost of a new unit and the lack of availability of spare parts.
Electronic Digital Hotel Safe Key Stuck In Lock
We were called to open this room safe by a Lancashire hotel whose guest had locked their valuables inside and couldn’t retrieve them. The electronic code would not open the door and when the staff tried to open it the master key became stuck and wouldn’t open the safe or come out. We attended the hotel and had the safe open within an hour of the call which isn’t bad for a Saturday afternoon.
Hilka S-25LCD(II)B Digital Safe Opening
The digital keypad on this Hilka safe had broken some time ago and the owner had just been using the override key since then but now the key would no longer work. We urgently attended the job which was an assisted living home in St Helens as it was used to store medication which was needed. We identified the issue with the lock and got it open without any damage.
Kamasa Tools Digital Safe Opening
The electronics had failed on this Kamasa Tools digital safe on the Wirral some time ago and the customer had been using the override key lock to secure it. The keys were now lost and the customer had attempted to break into it himself without any luck. The damage you see is from from his attempts and not from our professional opening which caused no further damage to the safe.
After opening the safe we advised that it would be more cost effective to replace it than to have it repaired due to the damage that had been caused. Most safes require specialist tools and expert knowledge to open them without damage, attempting to open a safe without the key or combination is likely to not end up well and will often be more expensive than calling a professional from the start.
Sentry Safe Keys Locked Inside
The key had been accidentally locked inside this Sentry safe at a Solicitors office in Liverpool. The contents were required for them to start their business first thing in the morning so we agreed to go out immediately and open it for them ready for the next day. Once on site we picked the lock open so that the safe could be put straight back into service once the keys were retrieved from inside. The whole thing from the initial call to the safe being opened took less than an hour, now how’s that for service!
Sentry X075 Flat Batteries No Keys
The batteries had run out and there was no override key for this Sentry X075 safe at a pub in Oldham. They had been told by another company that the safe would need to be drilled open and replaced. We disagreed and advised that we could pick the lock open without damage to the lock or safe. This is exactly what we did and had the safe back in service within five minutes of arriving on site.
Whilst it’s true that some locks and safes may require the use of a drill to open it is always our mission to open them non-destructively wherever possible. We train hard and have all the latest safe opening equipment to ensure that we can repeatedly provide the best service to our clients.
If you have been told that your safe requires drilling in order to open it then please give us a call for a second opinion.
Safeplace Hotel Safe Opening
This Safeplace Magna 800 Digital Hotel Safe would not open when the correct code was entered. We attended the Hotel overlooking Lake Windermere in the Lake District to open and repair it as they urgently required access to the contents. Once on site we discovered that the top bolt was not retracting but we were able to open it without any damage and reattach it to the boltwork. A nice clean job leaving a fully functional safe with no holes to fill. Another professional safe opening completed by Paladin Safe Services.
Blackspur BB-ES100 Electronic Safe Opening
This Blackspur electronic safe had been left by the previous tenant at an apartment in Manchester. The keypad was not responding possibly due to flat batteries and no key had been left for the override lock. The new tenant just wanted to remove it to make space but it was bolted to the floor so needed to be opened in order to move it. We attended and opened it without damage despite it heading for the nearest skip.
Sentry CSW4747 Safe Won’t Open
We received an emergency call to open this Sentry CSW4747 fire safe in Warrington. The owner was due to take a flight today and his passport was inside the safe which refused to open with the key and correct combination. We attended the job and had it open within the hour.
